Sometimes, you just need a mental reset. You’ve had a long, mentally challenging day trying to solve a task or problem with no luck. That’s where a mental reset comes into play. When you’ve been staring at a problem for hours, you get incredibly narrow-sighted, trying the same solutions over and over again without success. At that point, coming up with fresh, out-of-the-box ideas feels impossible.

But let’s be real – mentally resetting is easier said than done. You need to get your mind completely off the problem to truly reset, and that’s where showering comes in handy. I’ve faced my fair share of painful coding bugs that have eaten up countless hours. Not too long ago, I realized that a proper mental reset not only kept me motivated but also helped me come up with better solutions. One day, I decided to take a shower to completely change my mindset and environment before diving back into the problem. When I stepped out of the shower, it was like I was a new person, seeing the problem with fresh eyes.

So, next time you’re stuck with a coding bug or another draining problem, try taking a shower and coming back to it with a new perspective. Plus, you might as well stay clean while solving the world’s problems, right? 😉
